Boksi for Content creators

New terms & conditions

While you’ve been busy making amazing content, we’ve been updating our terms and conditions to support you. We know contracts aren’t a thrilling read, so we have summarized the main changes for you on this page.

The new terms & conditions will be available on the platform 20.4.2022 and all users need to go through and accept them before they can continue using Boksi. They will replace all previous agreements between you, Boksi, and the brands using the platform. However, any campaigns you've been accepted to before these terms come into effect will be completed according to the agreements in place when you agreed to participate in the campaign.

The biggest benefit of the new terms & conditions is that you will find all terms in one agreement. They include both influencer campaigns and content creation assignments (also known as branded content campaigns), so you don’t need to accept different terms in different places. The new terms also add more transparency to how your content can be used by brands and Boksi, so your amazing content gets the careful attention it deserves.

Content library

As you might have noticed, we have recently added a new feature to the platform – the content library. There, you can find all the images and videos from your previous influencer and branded content campaigns that are available for brands to purchase. In the future, it’s easy to manage all your content as it will automatically be added to your own content library after uploading it to each campaign.

Boksi marketing
Boksi can use the content uploaded to the library for its own marketing purposes, as long as the content doesn’t play a significant role in the marketing. This means that we can use for example screenshots from the content library in our platform demonstration materials, but if we would like to use a specific photo in our social media that hasn’t been purchased by the customer, we will always buy the rights for it.

Influencer campaigns

Reposting
When it comes to reposting rights, brands still have the right to share the influencer campaign publications on their own social media accounts. Previously there wasn’t any time limit for that, but from now on, the customer can repost the content during the campaign period or latest one month after the campaign period has ended, unless it's been otherwise specifically agreed.

Boksi marketing
Just like before, Boksi has the right to use the campaign content for its own marketing purposes. We can also use the rest of the content uploaded for purchase for our own marketing purposes, as long as the content doesn’t play a significant role in our marketing. This means that we can use for example screenshots from the campaign library in our platform demonstration materials, but if we would like to use your specific photo in our social media, we will always buy the rights for it.

Deleting posts
Creators are not allowed to delete the campaign post from their social media feeds until 6 months after publishing, unless they have gotten a written permission from Boksi. If they delete it without such permission, they will need to pay their campaign reward back to Boksi. The customer can, however, demand the creator to delete the post, and in that case the creator can keep the reward that they have gotten from the campaign.

Following briefs
If the creator doesn’t follow the brief in their campaign content, they lose the rights for the reward and Boksi is entitled to request a remuneration from the creator. This is not applicable though if the situation is caused by a force majeure.

Branded content campaigns

Original content

The creator has to make sure that the content uploaded to Boksi is owned by the creator and is original, meaning that it has to differ significantly from other content the creator has created in the past. The creator is not allowed to publish identical or very similar content anywhere else or sell it to other parties outside Boksi as long as the content is on sale on the platform.

Creator wallet

All rewards will be paid to the creator wallet, where the creator can withdraw the money flexibly when they want.
